Two-way cloud storage on 3DS.
Pokemon Bank is the 3DS-era cloud box service. Generation VI and VII games deposit and withdraw freely with Bank, making it the central hub of the 3DS era.
Unlike the one-way migration tools, moving Pokemon between Bank and a compatible 3DS game (X, Y, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon) is fully two-way - you can pull them back down. Bank requires a paid annual subscription. It stores up to 3,000 Pokemon across 100 boxes.

Open Pokemon Bank on your 3DS with an active subscription.

Connect your Gen VI or VII game.

Drag Pokemon between the game boxes and Bank boxes in either direction.

Withdraw any time - this link does not strip the Pokemon.
